The Narthex

Caffeinated Church is a proud partner of The Narthex project, a new 5-year initiative based at Christ Church Denver.

This project uses a peer-mentoring framework to support traditional, mainline churches in expanding their digital capacities. The end goal is threefold:

  1. Build virtual community through engaging content (aimed especially at the “nones” where they are––providing resources to explore the life questions they are asking). What is the life/spiritual journey of a person and how does a parish’s digital strategy intentionally intersect?

  2. Develop digital whole-life discipleship resources reacquainting existing believers with ancient faith practices, accessible online and relevant to their Monday-through-Saturday lives and mission fields, How do we more effectively equip all baptized believers to live out their “vocation and ministry” where they are, amid changing patterns of participation?

  3. Establish a learning cohort of likeminded Mainline churches All learnings and best practices will be culled, collected, and archived by Caffeinated Church for use by the wider church.
