In this session, we'll explore a few alternatives to traditional social media platforms. We'll look at Bluesky, Mastadon, Patreon, and even Reddit, equipping you with best practices, but also realistic expectations. We'll then contrast virality and niche community, exploring how emerging apps and platforms can niche connections. Whether you're a seasoned digital marketer or a social media novice, this workshop will equip you with the latest trends in digital community building so that you can make thoughtful choices about where you convene church community in an online world.
