Google Apps
Churches and nonprofits can apply to have Google Apps for Nonprofits, which is a superior service that you can get for free. You get 30GB per user mail storage included. Also, you can set a domain policy to NOT allow forwarding of information to personal accounts, ensuring that your church business stays were it can be audited if necessary. To apply for Google Apps for Nonprofits, you'll first want to go to TechSoup.com and register as a nonprofit. Per Google, "To be eligible for the Google for Nonprofits program, organizations must be nonprofit charitable organizations in good standing in their country. All organizations must be registered with the local TechSoup partner and be validated as a nonprofit organization." Use the EIN for The Episcopal Church in Colorado: 84-0408181 and the Association Code of 8404-RADO-QF93 for TechSoup.com (associated with Google). The Office of the Bishop will receive an email that will verify that you are a part of the organization. If you have any questions, please contact Mike Orr, Director of Communications, at Mike@EpiscopalColorado.org.
